Part I "the purchase" - We live in Reno and about 1 year ago we went to Western Skies looking for a Class B. We met with Shannon and he was patient and knowledgable. He encouraged us to drive one to see if we liked it. At the time we had a Class C and decided to wait on making the purchase. Fast forward to April '24'... we decided on that a Class B (Nova 20D) was right for us. We reached out to Shannon and scheduled an appointment. Once again he was awesome and never pressured us. He once again was very patient. We decided to order one with all the specs we wanted including 2x Li3 batteries. Shannon was transparent with price and even called the Coachman rep while we were there to make sure that we could get what we wanted. Shannon even took us to the service department and explained how service would work when we need it. We learned from our previous RV that the ability to schedule and receive good service is critical when you need it.

Part II - the "delivery experience" - We picked up our 2025 Coachman Nova 20D Li3 on 6/28/24. The time we spent with Service [KC] reviewing the rig was above expectations. Everything we could think of was tested in the rig before we arrived and then we went over it again. Never felt rushed! Good Job....NOW for the interesting part...when we drove it off the lot and up a hill we noticed a vibrating sound coming from under the rig....We returned it to WS who did not initially have solution. I Worked with Coachman [ Paul K] and[ Dolan] Dodge to determine that it was in likely the skid plate. Went back to Western Skies and Bill Wimberly [Service Manager] got involved. Bill made all the difference. He directed his team to remove the skid plate, confirmed that the vibration did not happen when the skid plate was off, found the defect in the plate, worked with Coachman to have them send a new skid plate and had it installed. We settled on purchasing a class B van Coachman Beyond 22D model on the Ford AWD chassis from Western Skies. If you're looking to rent an RV I couldn't recommend this place more highly. This last summer I had an emergency situation which suddenly required renting a trailer while mine was being repaired. Western Skies was competitively priced compared to other companies in the Tahoe area, and the trailer I rented was in great condition and immaculately clean, but what really set them apart from other companies was their customer service. All of the rental staff members were fabulous. The rental manager, Matthew actually took the time to hear what was going on with our situation, including some fairly complicated circumstances and he was able to help us out during a very stressful time. Throughout the three weeks we had the rental trailer he was responsive and helpful with any questions I had since I'm new to trailer camping. Every once in awhile you find a business that really stands out because they care about their customers, and that is definitely Western Skies RV. This is Part I (The Purchase). We recently ordered a Class B Coachman Nova from Western Skies. Shannon was our Salesperson. We met Shannon over a year ago when we had a Class C and were considering a Class B. He is excellent! He showed us the inventory on hand and explained all features. He encouraged us to take a test drive, and was very knowledgable and patient with us. Not pushy but helpful. Fast forward to April 2024 we finally decided on the type of RV that would be best for us. We called Shannon and once again found him honest, helpful and patient. We gave him all the specs and decided it was best for Western Skies to order one. Shanon answered all questions and even had us meet the service team which was important to us. Excellent Experience. Part II will be the delivery experience when the rig arrives at Western Skies.

I needed help repairing my RV after attending Burning Man this year. I called Western Skies RV and it was the best thing I ever did! Jason and Ron went out of their way to help me. When your 2500 miles from home, its places like this that you can trust. If you have a problem with your RV, or just need some parts this is the place to go in Reno. If you are looking for an RV or trailer, you should buy it from this place. And if you want a further recommendation, ask for "Murph" (Mark Murphy) to help you find the right one.My husband and I went over to the show they were having at the GSR and while we were staring at one of the trailers, Murph walked up and just started to tell us about it. We ended up sitting in the trailer talking for like an hour while he answered all our questions about trailers and RVing in general (we are total newbs). It never once felt like a sales pitch. It seriously felt like chatting with a new buddy that was happy to share information with us while we were making a big decision. It was such a fun (and educational) experience and I still feel if I have any questions that I can call up Murph and he will help me out.We ended up buying that same trailer and it continued to be super easy and fun. Scott and Chris in the finance department were great and easy to deal with. The other Chris in the Service Department, did our walk-through and taught us how to use the trailer was also awesome and incredibly helpful. Seriously everyone that works here is great.The bottom line: this place is family owned and it shows. They are just good people and do such a good job of just helping you out. It's definitely polar opposite of the experience we have had at some of the big corporate RV places. We are only going to Western Skies from now on. I have purchased two trailers from Western Skies RV. Each occasion has been a superior experience. Both times my salesman was Josh. Josh knows his stuff front to back and goes out of his way to make sure you are buying what really fits your needs. Josh is knowledgeable and knows the RV business well. These guys should really get 10 stars...About a month ago I had asked in a facebook group about buying the Vengeance Armoured Rogue 4007VG2 from camping world. Almost every response was DON'T. One response was we have that model on our lot in Reno. I reached out to Josh Roberts about it and what they could offer us for a our 2017 Coachmen in trade. Two weeks ago on a last minute whim we drove 3 hours to go look at the unit and talk to Josh.

Josh showed us all of the floorplans they had on the lot. We were sold on the 4007. Yesterday we went back to Reno and did the deal. This RV dealer was by far the best we have ever dealt with. The unit was ready to go. It was clean. The delivery tech was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with any questions we had. The finance manager went above and beyond and got us an interest rate far below what we were originally expecting for the amount we financed. And to top it all off their pricing is far below camping world by thousands on the unit we purchased. This is a top notch dealership by far and I would highly recommend the trek, even from the bay area. Thank you Josh, Chris and Chris for the wonderful experience.

We rented for Burning Man 2014 and it was an awesome experience. We came from San Diego and when we arrived at Black Rock City our trailer was there, set up, and waiting for us. Although we didn't need it, it was nice to know they were on site in case we had any issues. Everyone at Western Skies was friendly and helpful and they had the best prices we found. Lastly while friends of ours rented from another place they got a beat up old RV that was just a place to sleep and ours was a brand new trailer that looked as though it had never been used before. Overall I would recommend them to anyone and I am using them for burning man next year.

My wife and I looked for close to a year for the coach that fit our needs. We did all of our research, read reviews, went to shows and payed close attention to word of mouth experiences. We also visited dealers. All the ones that come up, Fresno, Turlock, Sacramento etc... but also locally. What we found was we could indeed save a few bucks over the hill, at the cost of terrible costumer service and zero warranty assistance.

Western skies was an unscheduled stop for us, not even on the radar. Boy are we happy we stopped by.

The salesman were friendly, non pushy and eager to assist IF AND WHEN WE NEEDED THEM. We left that day knowing that although the price was higher compared to the "other guys" we did appreciate the service and that stood out to us.

2 weeks went by. We made our decision on the unit we wanted and went to work finding our deal. My wife called western skies FIRST. Told them we were ready to pull the trigger and wanted to give them first right.

30 minutes later I had a check cut from my bank to Western skies. Our salesman stood by and answered EVERY question instantly.

We picked up our new Eclipse Attitude 32SAG this morning, arriving an hour early as we were excited. Ron Jr and team were already detailing it and running it through its paces making sure everything was in order and it presented well for us. Ron Sr escorted us in to see Cindy and she knocked out our paperwork in 15 minutes. She handed us back to Ron Jr and this young man walked me through every inch of that trailer explaining every detail, making certain I understood and answering any questions I had. I went in to see Dennis before I left and bugged him for 20 minutes about accessories, the man was great. If there's anything I need, I will be calling Dennis first.
